Whale

Kind of slowed down on my substack output. Finishing up a little short story with no real plot (but one threatening, which I'm passively resisting), called "Features". Figured out a nice bass line to accompany the Beatles song "Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Di" from the White Album -- mostly simulating Paul's bass pattern, but devising my own bridge at key points. Continuing to try to grow my chat room on Paltalk -- seems to be hopefully picking up (I say tentatively).

Twitter, like many (if not most) things in life, isn't all bad. When I swim around there, I bump into a lot of salutary and even heartening accounts helmed by people I'd say are more or less "in my Tribe". The question why would Twitter even allow so many accounts like that to flourish (accounting -- pun intended -- for the ongoing problem of accounts being punished in one way or another) is a persistent question that complicates the rational conspiracy theory; but is likely a fruitful question nonetheless (even if the fruit thereof is difficult to ascertain).
