If I had a nickel for every time

It's been many many months -- many many many months -- since I last blogged here. Unlike the many times this has happened before, I'm not going comment further about it nor make excuses for it.

In other news, I was unprecedentedly late for my annual posting on my otherwise dead blog,The Hesperado. Its annual date has been traditionally February 21, and now it's the 23rd. Hopefully by the end of this weekend, I will rectify that situation.

Otherwise, I would encourage my readers to swim around in my archives here and browse. I've done that a few times and found quite a few nuggets if not even gems.

Twitter, like many (if not most) things in life, isn't all bad. When I swim around there, I bump into a lot of salutary and even heartening accounts helmed by people I'd say are more or less "in my Tribe". The question why would Twitter even allow so many accounts like that to flourish (accounting -- pun intended -- for the ongoing problem of accounts being punished in one way or another) is a persistent question that complicates the rational conspiracy theory; but is likely a fruitful question nonetheless (even if the fruit thereof is difficult to ascertain).
