Covid side effect: merging Left and Right

The international behaviors & rhetoric of the Covid-Industrial Complex these past 16-odd months (and I do mean odd) have revealed four major shifts in our sociopolitical culture:

1) The Mainstream has become dominated by Leftism

2) Normative Leftism has become more extreme, such that the Center Left has transmogrified into the far Left

3) Leftists have become neo-Nazi Fascists (previously supposedly the exclusive privilege of the "far right")

4) Right-wingers have become rebellious protestors, "sticking it to the Man" like Leftists used to do back in the 60s.

One thing perdures through these shifts, and adds reinforcement to their dynamic:  Leftism is still "cool" and thus popular amongst the youth -- and the youth, in turn, continue to exert pressure to be "cool" on adults stuck in arrested development (cf. Diana West's book The Death of the Grown-Up).

On my old blog (The Hesperado), I published a few postings directly adverting to 911 (which I mentioned in a tweet yesterday).

In nosing around looking for them, I found a few essays less directly -- but still with searingly apposite relevance -- riveting on 911, yet withal worth reading.
