Alas, I no longer have a chat room on Paltalk—well, I do, but it's just the husk of a shell of its former self (renamed The Eleven Four Room, after a Paul Desmond piece called Eleven Four on the Dave Brubeck Quartet album Countdown: Time in Outer Space). At best, about 9 people may be there, 7 of them comatose. Mostly, it's about 5.
At any rate, I gave up, after 6 years of trying to grow a room. The question is not why did I give up—but why I lasted so long.
