Bye, Bye, Big W...

Well, it looks like the best commenter on Jihad Watch ain't no longer there (as Big W would say).  There were recently two humongous comments threads there (both of them over 100 comments, within a day or two of being posted), and I noted Big W's comments kept popping up there each time I would revisit the thread. I almost always like what he writes, but most of the time it's not remarkable enough to make a posting about.  These comments, however, began to germinate in my mind as an idea for one or two postings here.  Big W must have posted over 10 comments in each of those two threads --

Bloomberg: “I was never prouder than when I argued that Muslims had right to build a mosque near World Trade Center”

and

Did Robert Spencer Really Throw Michelle Malkin Under the Bus, Or, Can’t We Talk About This?

If the reader clicks on those links and goes to the comments sections, he will look in vain for any comments by The Big W (or, more accurately, "thebigW") -- except for one comment by mortimer, who responded to Big W but, as Robert Spencer's tech genius, "Marc", failed in his delirious rage at eliminating Big W root and branch, a vestige remains inexplicable to any readers who arrived on the comments thread after Marc and Robert did their Purge.

I'm trying to recall what Big W could have possibly written to excite Robert and Marc's ire so, and as far as I know, he hadn't typed anything egregiously different from the robust coffee he's been trying to wake up Jihad Watchers to for the many months (if not over two years) he's been commenting there.

Unless it was his comments about the Jewish problem on the Michelle Malkin thread, re: Nick Fuentes; though from what I remember, Big W hadn't crossed any line (not even those Maginot Lines which Robert and Marc tend to draw in their hypersensitive anxiety).  On the Bloomberg thread, the only thing I recall was Big W pointing out what (of course) no other fearless Jihad Watcher ever points out -- that the Ground Zero Mosque isn't special, insofar as any mosque anywhere in the West should be deemed unacceptable.  Perhaps it was the way Big W put this that finally caused Robert and Marc to pull the plug on him...?

Who knows.  It's not like Robert Spencer is running a venue for actual reasonable discussion & conversation about this most exigent problem...  More like an echo chamber of sycophants who don't rock his double-virtue-signalling boat...
