A simple, if appallingly gruesome, fact: Omar Mateen, the Muslim who in 2016 committed the jihad massacre at the gay nightclub Pulse in Orlando, Florida, that evening killed 49 people. Inexorably related to this fact is a second fact: Omar Mateen injured 58 people. In any terror attack, those who are wounded and survive should be counted by us as fatalities, when we are doing threat assessments. So: 49 + 58 = Omar Mateen massacred 107 people.
Indeed, we could even go further and make the total open-ended, in so far as these Muslims who engage in front-line Jihad bil Saif ("jihad of the sword") in their fanatically psychopathic frenzy desire to kill perhaps an unlimited number of filthy unbelievers. Certainly, the Muslim who opened fire at Fort Hood in 2009, Nidal Hasan (a Major and a psychiatrist in the U.S. Army), in his orgiastically mass-murderous delirium wanted to kill more than the 14 he actually killed, and it is reasonable to assume more than the 30 he actually injured; i.e., even more than the 44 we should impute to him as having massacred.
