Dr. Robert Malone as a lab specimen

  

I don't fault Dr. Malone for what he's doing; his various outbreaks of commentary in social media are on the face of it potentially salutary and useful, for he is diverging off the Mainstream Reservation on the Covid Narrative. However, the problem is his Berensonian instincts, which seem to shape him in two ways:  

1) he trusts the Mainstream Narrative about Covid in important ways that tend to reinforce it, even as simultaneously he is raising questions about it that indicate otherwise; and 

2) he seems dogmatically closed to even entertaining the thought that the whole thing is in fact an international conspiracy.

Generously assuming he is not controlled opposition, one wonders, what makes him tick?  Why does he place so much trust in a system that by now he must be able to see evinces so much corruption and incompetence, it cannot reasonably be all due to non-conspiratorial factors.
