Notes on a science of Conspiracy

What is a "conspiracy"?

We can break down its necessary components:

1) It tends to be nefarious (though it can be beneficent in intent).

2) Its planning and much (or most) of its execution is done largely in secret -- though it may well involve overt events and/or communications calculated to cloak in half-truths, distractions, and controlled opposition.

3) It cannot be omnipotent or omniscient.

4) Because of #3, we assume that it has limitations and weaknesses; though because of #2 -- and because most of us are not insiders in the jet-setting world of cosmopolitan globalist billionaires who fly to Davos, then stop off at the Cannes Film Festival, get invited to George Clooney's Italian villa, fly back to Paris for a soirée with Henry Kissinger, Sting, and the latest Russian transgender supermodel, then rush back to London for a G5 Summit -- we have to infer and myopically palpate the general nature & concrete dimensions of its strengths & weaknesses.

5) While we can, as we conduct #4 (palpating its general structure in the present), additionally try to palpate its origins in the past, we should caution ourselves from pushing the etiology so far into the past the subject of our science becomes expanded into a phenomenon spanning all history.

6) So too, following our caution in #5, we should try our best to avoid expanding the Conspiracy and its Cabal out to a scope too broad that would encompass too much (thus for example, palpating the current corruption of America pace Diana West, we would push its origins back to the 1940s, then pace Patrick Wood, back to the 1920s, then back to the Industrial Barons of the late 19th century, then back to Lincoln, then back to the "Freemason" George Washington, etc. etc., with a principle of no logical end to the extrapolation back in time).

7) Every conspiracy by definition has a "cabal".  Most people have a phobic reaction to the word "cabal" as though they're afraid if they even hint about countenancing its existence, they will catch the "conspiracy theorist" cooties.  The word is almost more radioactive than "conspiracy" itself.  All a "cabal" means is the group of people who envisioned the conspiracy in the first place, then planned it, then proceeded to deploy it, then continue to manage it to its end, whatever that end may be.  A "conspiracy" by definition is something planned and managed; it's not some organic, accidental event that just happens naturally, without purpose, intent, calculation, and direction.

  1. 1.5 out of my 4.75 readers may have noticed a new trend on my blog here -- namely, an eccentric use of pictures: not only the apparent use of pictures that seem to have nothing logical to do with the content of whatever I'm posting, but also pictures so big they spill over boundaries, and sometimes 3 pictures above and below the text. Why, those readers may ask? 'Cause I find it neat, I might answer...
