One major impediment to the realization that Covid doesn't exist is resistance to the probability of Covid being an international conspiracy. This apparently isn't a perfect correspondence, since I have encountered a few flaming conspiracy theorists who for some baffling reason feel obliged to believe in Covid's existence. Hard to explain that, other than as an indication of just how powerful, psycho-culturally, the Mainstream has been (probably over decades) in insinuating trustworthiness into people's hearts & minds.

Twitter, like many (if not most) things in life, isn't all bad. When I swim around there, I bump into a lot of salutary and even heartening accounts helmed by people I'd say are more or less "in my Tribe". The question why would Twitter even allow so many accounts like that to flourish (accounting -- pun intended -- for the ongoing problem of accounts being punished in one way or another) is a persistent question that complicates the rational conspiracy theory; but is likely a fruitful question nonetheless (even if the fruit thereof is difficult to ascertain).
